We are Locavore Lit LA, the only literary journal bringing writers and artists into LAUSD classrooms to nurture a new generation of creatives. We believe reading is revolutionary. Locavore Lit LA is a product of Light Bringer Project.

In the 2018-19 school year, Locavore Lit LA served approximately 340 students at Fairfax High School, West Adams Preparatory High School, and James C. Foshay Learning Center. Here's what our students had to say:
